Clinical Research

The medical professionals at Cardiology Associates of Palm Beach are actively involved in clinical trials assessing new drugs, devices and other techniques for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Most of the physicians have served as principal investigators for national multi-center clinical trials on the whole spectrum of cardiovascular disease, including pivotal trials researching new treatments for lipid (cholesterol) disorders, hypertension, disorders of heart rhythm, heart failure, heart attacks. We have participated in trials evaluating the new drug-coated stents, and the most advanced pacemakers and implanted defibrillators used to treat rhythm disorders and heart failure.

The list of active studies changes rapidly and the cardiologists and nurse-practitioners are knowledgeable about the opportunities available to our patients to receive the newest and most advanced treatments.
