Dr. Kachel has been a voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami’s Division of Cardiology since 1982. He served on the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the American Heart Association for 21 years and as the Chief of Cardiology at Good Samaritan Medical Center for eight years.

Dr. Kachel graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Lehigh University. He completed medical school at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. Dr. Kachel completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Kachel is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine-Cardiovascular Diseases.
